If you have not seen Askmen.com’s list of the top 10 sporting activities in Vegas, it is definitely worth checking out.  While there is plenty of gambling and boozing to be enjoyed by all, checking out some other Vegas activities can add a little extra excitement to your trip.  On the list is everything from a Nascar race, Mario Andretti’s driving school and our personal favorite, taking a flight line through Bootleg Canyon.  If you have some luck at the tables, enjoy a night in the $25,000 a night NBA themed hardwood suite at the palms.  With March Madness just around the corner, now is the perfect time to book your trip and enjoy your favorite sportsbook!

Can you feel the change in the winds? The NFL Preseason is sneaking up on us.  Games are starting this month and although the preseason is not as exciting as the season, its better than nothing.  Pretty soon we will be tailgating, drinking beer and grilling brats.  Sounds good huh?  For more schedule information check out NFL Schedules.

Gents, it is almost that time of year again. The NCAA Tournament is sneaking up on us. If you haven’t had the time to keep up this year do not fret. You Still have until March 15th before the teams are picked. For some more important March Madness dates check out March Madness.

Golf season is quickly approaching.  If your game is anything like mine then you are apprehensive about your rusty game.  With only a month or two until the links are warm enough for play, we need to get some practice in.  TPC Scottsdale is not only warm but the course is absolutely amazing.  Get the boys together and warm up on one of the southwest’s nicest golf courses.  If you can’t budget this one at least get to the Carolina’s for some great southern golf.

Cleveland, Ohio has been known for sports teams that can’t get the job done. Ever hear of the movie Major League? Hollywood even has found time to make fun of Cleveland sports. The question this year is whether the Cavs will be able to stay on top. The Celtics seem to think they are the better team. Check out more on the Cavaliers long history at Cavs History.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are predicted to win the National Title in football with their preseason # 1 rankning.  College sports have been so unpredictable lately and that’s what makes them so enjoyable to watch.  It’s still exciting to see the preseason rankings though.  Get your tailgate ready and crack a beer.  You can read up on the rest of the rankings at Preseason Rankings.

For over 80 years Yankee Stadium has been a landmark in New York.  Located in The Bronx, the ballpark has played host to some of baseballs greatest players and games.  From Ruth to Rodriguez NYC has seen it all.  At the end of the 2008 season, the stadium will be torn down to make way for the new stadium that is being built adjacent to it. 

You may not be a Yankee fan but the history of this ballpark is worth noting.  Above are two great pictures…enjoy.
