For over 80 years Yankee Stadium has been a landmark in New York. Located in The Bronx, the ballpark has played host to some of baseballs greatest players and games. From Ruth to Rodriguez NYC has seen it all. At the end of the 2008 season, the stadium will be torn down to make way for the new stadium that is being built adjacent to it.
You may not be a Yankee fan but the history of this ballpark is worth noting. Above are two great pictures…enjoy.

Summer is in full swing. Graduations are over, school is out, and it’s toasty outside. This time of year, people start their summer vacations. I have some news though…it’s cheaper to travel in fall. Not everyone is able to take time off in fall but you should try. A trip to London and Paris in fall can be found for close to the same price as the typical trip to Florida. Save up for a few more weeks and do something original for once. A good site to start at is European Destinations. They have great package deals to Europe that can point you in the right direction.
A few quick tips. If you have not been to Paris or London, they are a great combo trip for a week. The train between the two is around 3 hours long (and underwater, if this doesn’t bother you). Weather will be getting chilly in England during autumn so check www.weather.com for averages. If it’s too cold, reasonable flights to Spain can be found and it will be a bit warmer.

The weekend is here. It is time to get nasty and forget about work for a few days. So get the party started or ended with an Absolute Train Wreck. This will surely make your worries go away (until the morning).
1/2 oz Absolut Vodka, 1/2 oz Absolut Kurant, 1/2 oz Absolut Citron, 1 1/2 oz cranberry juice.

Are you an avid coffee drinker like me? If so you need to use the best beans in the morning. In today’s day and age there is no excuse for drinking crappy coffee. You can get the best beans in the world flown in from wherever in 2-3 days. Screw Folgers, get yourself some Kona Coffee. Not only does this stuff taste great, it will go farther with the ladies then that tub of generic coffee grounds.

This August, China will be hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics. If you feel they way I do, you don’t care! For one reason or another I become less enthusiastic every four years. To me the world has become so “global” that it doesn’t feel like nations battling for glory anymore. Now it feels like a bunch of pals fighting for endorsements. Any thoughts on this?

We probably ran something like this a few months back, but its always something good to know. You have that lukewarm beer thats been in your backseat overnight and you’re getting really thirsty. Well the Dumb LIttle Man blog wrote an article on how to chill a beer in 3 minutes. Check it out..
Here is how he took beer from 80+ degrees to (seemingly) 40 degrees in about 3 minutes.

If you haven’t noticed over the last few years, Tiger Woods is a walking Nike billboard. I would be too if they offered me millions. Everything from his golf balls to his hat have the swoosh on them. Even all of his red, Sunday shirts are Nike. Nike has certainly created an incredible golf apparel line. The shirts may not help you play like Woods but you can sure look good. Throw out your Izod collared shirts and dress like you belong on the course. Check them out at Nike Golf.

Not all men enjoy the taste of fish, however you need to try this dish. Below I have listed the steps for great blackened tuna steaks. This thick cut fish is amazing on the grilland good for you. The Omega-3 in fish helps blood circulation and it’s a good change from a 100% red meat diet.
1/4 c. olive oil, 2 tbsp. lime juice, 6 tuna steaks, about 6 oz. each, 1 tbsp. dry mustard, 2 tbsp. dried cilantro, 1 tbsp. chili powder, 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, 1 tsp. black mustard seeds
Combine olive oil and lime juice, brush each steak with mixture. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over steaks and refrigerate. Grill the steaks for 4 minutes per side. Do not dry out. Top with Lime and Soy Sauce.

There’s nothing like that one week a month when your girlfriends go bat-shit crazy. Well, this shot is a salute to those miserable women and their mood swings. Next time your girl gets moody make her one of these to calm down. One word of advice -don’t tell her the name of the drink or things will get ugly.
